The Back Story:
Salem West came to us with a need. A site that could handle an ever expanding empire of literature. We made several conclusions about what and how the new website should operate in order to meet the objectives and maintain the flexibility of change with a future proof solution. Their online website needed to look clean, sophisticated and be easily brow-sable with beautiful imagery to attract and keep this audience interested, and most importantly for e-commerce to actually WORK!
Our team quickly came up with a plan that would allow readers to find the authors they already loved, along with explore new works that were relevant to the reader’s interest. We also wanted to drive traffic to the online newsletter for ByWater Books. Their online newsletter is the easiest way to keep readers informed about new releases and sales.
